Chinese Economics: Buy American!

From the Wall Street Journal, apparently it is open season again for the Chinese to buy U.S. companies and assets again.

A123 Systems was recently purchased for $257 million as just one example of the buying spree that will continue. According to Pin Ni, president of Wanxiang America: "You just need to understand the rules."

In a somewhat confusing and very rambling discussion, Friedman notes how he envies China's Reaganism, not Maoism.

Once again, there is no doubt that Friedman remains suspect and his geopolitical views are tainted.
